Wit lives in the corner of your screen. While you're actually at the keyboard, he glances over now and then and calls out your nonsense in one witty remark. The joke lands first. Then he tells you the better way.

Wit says: "Your jester has arrived, Sire. Pretend to be productive; I shall pretend to believe it."
In the old courts, the fool was the only one allowed to tell the king the truth, so long as he wrapped it in a joke.
Wit keeps the tradition. You are the king. Your screen is the court.
He's a small, transparent, always-on-top window. No dashboards, no productivity score. Just one well-timed remark when you've earned it.
Wit tells real hardware input apart from input injected by AI agents and automation. While Claude or another agent drives the machine and you're only watching, he stays asleep. I watch only when you rule. When the machines rule, I nap.
Every so often he looks at your screen and spots the nonsense: the procrastination, the tab graveyard, the chore you're doing by hand, the sentence you've rewritten four times.
The jab comes first, because that's what gets through. Then a genuinely useful suggestion: the shortcut, the command, the thing you should be doing instead.
He skips his glance whenever a password manager, a private or incognito window, or a banking or brokerage app is in front. He stays quiet in fullscreen games, and dozes when you're away.
Every remark is written fresh for what's on your screen. These give you the flavour.
Ten seconds at the desk, zero keys pressed, and already you summon the fool. The build won't upload itself, sire. Run the command, then poke me while Valve deliberates.
Forty-one tabs, Sire. A kingdom of beginnings.
You've deleted more than you've written. Bold strategy for a novelist.
The meeting could have been an email. The email could have been a nap.
Your AI writes the code while you watch. Tell me again who wears the crown?
Fourth time reorganizing the to-do list. The list thanks you; the tasks do not.
Your jester has arrived, Sire. Pretend to be productive; I shall pretend to believe it.
A jester who sees your screen has to be trustworthy. Here's the short version; the full privacy policy has the details.
Try him free for a week. If he makes you laugh, and occasionally makes you better, keep him.

No. He only keeps counts (how many keys, erases, clicks and scrolls), never which keys you pressed. Those counts stay on your PC, apart from the aggregate numbers sent as context with a remark.
When he's about to make a remark, he takes one screenshot of your active display and sends it, with light context such as the foreground app and window title, to Anthropic's Claude to write the line. The screenshot is never stored by Wit's server. Details are in the privacy policy.
Anthropic's Claude. With Wit Pro we handle the connection for you; with Wit Own-Key your PC talks to Anthropic directly using your own API key.
No. He stays quiet when a fullscreen app or game is in front. He also naps while you're away and while AI agents or automation are driving the machine.
Yes. Hush him for an hour from the tray icon or with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+W, choose how chatty he is (Chatty, Courtly or Reserved), or dismiss him entirely from the tray. He takes it well. Mostly.
After 7 days, pick Wit Pro or Wit Own-Key to keep him talking. No card is taken for the trial, so nothing is charged automatically.
Not yet. Wit runs on Windows 10 and 11 for now; Mac is coming later.
You've scrolled this far without downloading anything. Very royal. Click the button, Sire; I'll handle the rest.
